I have VERY VERY thick hair. No offense to anyone, but when white people say they have thick hair, and then I see the picture, their hair is what I consider to be thin! I'm mixed, and I have curly hair...and its frizzy and poofy....so I straighten it. and my hair looks great and nice!! but I wanna get side swept bangs, kinda emo looking, but I have very thick hair, thats volumnous. its not bad....but its hard to maintain, and i dont think ill like it with side bangs. if i get my hair thinned...and i wanna wear my hair curly instead of straight, will it look horrible?

dont get ur hair thinned. it wont look to nice. i have a friend wit hair like ur hair like urs and she did that and it looked bad! anddd trust me ur hair is med. thick mine is crazy thick. i'm talking worse than corbin bleu like serioulsy. my friend got a perm and her hair is really nice i think she gets it every 3 months
i would definitly thin it out. i have straight hair and i even thin it out because it grows out like a triangle shape. You want hourglass or V-shape hair.
V-shape will probably be best for u...my friend has curly hair and cut it shorter with longer peices in the front, it looks HOT
dont cu tit when you become an old woman your hair will thin out and you may be bold inthe top so enjoy it now if you had leukemia you wouldnt be thining it out.dont do it if you want it thin you will have to get a perm for black females it just makes your hair super straight and non frizzy inall reality by you being mixed you cant do to your hair what your white friends do your hair is not of their texture just go to a black salonand tell them you want a relaxer they will know what you are talking about and they can do mixed people hair being that the black culture is so diverse once you get that perm youtr hair will be what you call "white people thick" but it will be black people thin..get it.
NO,do not thin it out! It will look horrible and even more frizzy .It will have a broken look to it also. Just straighten it when you want it to have a sleek look. I'm positive you will totally regret it if you have it thinned.
I wear my hair down and straight to school everyday and im looking for a bit of a change. I dont want to have it cut or colored, just some simple styles that I can do at home. For example bangs in a pompadour. Here are pictures of my hair;

it looks nice down and no afence but it looks too short to put up but if u can the try quiff or high ponytail or a side ponytail u can do both wid a quiff and try esserising

I have had the same style FOREVER!! I love my curly hair though and I do not want to straighten it. I just want to know if anybody has any ideas on what I should do to it to give it a change. Is there any styles or haircuts? Or maybe even dying it a different color? Pictures would be great!!

well yyou can put mousse in it and let it dry and if it is being weird, straighten it and then curl parts with a barrel curling iron and then run through it with your fingers... but if you truly want your hair like this youll hav eto have a personal hairstylist and extensions
three packages of orange kool aid and three jars of mayonnaise. Mix em all together and apply generously to your hair. Let dry...and viola!
Take the upper layer of hair by the crown and clip it up. Curl the under sides with a medium barrel curling iron, then let the top layer down %26amp; do the same. Spray all over with hairspray %26amp; viola!

i dont know how that person did it but i found a way for myself to achieve that look. what i did was i took a shower and when i got out i had to towel dry it but i didnt dry it too much. then i twisted my hair into sections. i took a 2 inch strand and seperated it into 2 and twisted them around each other like a rope would look like. i did that until my whole entire head of hair was in twists. i didnt do braids because it looks a little bit different. but if you like the way it looks with braids, then you can do that. okay anyways, then if you wanna dry it quickly, blowdry it. if not just let it air dry. i never sleep with it because since i roll around alot, my hair will bend and leave a bent mark when i take out the twist. lol oh and i left out my side bangs so i could style that last. okay so when i take out the twists, i then take some scrunching gel and scrunch a little bit just so i could make it more shinier and not as frizzy and also it helps make it more wavy and scrunchy
wash your hair and don't brush it put extra hold mouse and crunch it and let it dry
put them in wet braids then sleep in then and BAM! lol
